Strategic Framework
AFJD is the permanent holder of all protective rights as a natural person and initiator of GCBoK. The IP remains with AFJD — GCC is granted usage rights on a contractual basis (no transfer of ownership).
Goal A — Defense Against Patent Trolls and Takeover Attempts
The IP remains with AFJD and cannot be acquired through a corporate takeover of GCC. Standardization via GCBoK (OSS, non-profit) creates a broad usage base that makes subsequent monopolization by third parties economically pointless.
Goal B — Community Building with Value-Added Participation
GCC, the community, and commercial exploitation partners receive usage rights to the IP on the same contractual basis — without GCC itself having to act as a licensor.
